Product Description

This rope brake is an innovated product, can be used as an ascending car over speed protection device, which falls into two types as per the triggering way. I. E. Mechanical and electromagnetic. The mechanical rope brake, triggered by steel wire pulled with governor, is installed together with XS12 A and XS12 B over speed governor, The electromagnetic rope brake is installed together with XS16, XS18, XS18 governors which will give electric signals to solenoid to trigger the rope brake.

The compression springs are used on this rope brake to provide working force, which is enlarged by wedge iron and rollers. The two braking blocks move at same time towards the center and clamp the ropes to stop the call safely and hold it still there. The rope brake is compact in structure, convenient to install and the installation angle Can be adjusted within 0~40oC. The 2 interfaces for installation are available now. The dimension for installation can be 210mm if required.
